Wright Kotzee is a teacher in South Africa. He is currently developing a program for South African teachers to help grade 1 - 3 children of all races to learn English. His new program will be free to all teachers. " The Wright Way" will help South African children to have a better education and to support educators in their important task to teach our young learners and to build a better nation.
His mission is:
“ To use my creative skills, particularly in the fields of English, to enhance and inspire the lives of my students.
To dedicate my heart of compassion to the teaching profession, always nurturing and encouraging my students to think “out of the box” and find new ways to accomplish their goals.
To create a classroom with a challenging environment that every student will reach his or her maximum potential intellectually and socially.
To share my optimism and knowledge with students but also with other teachers to become more educated and finding new and excited ways of teaching their students.
To continue to grow as a teacher and as a person, taking advantage of professional classes and seminars, eventually earning my administrative credential.
To find new stimulating ways for students in rural areas to also have quality education.
To value my students, to show respect, and to build their self-esteem in some way every day. When my students are my age , I want to be the teacher who stands out in their memories because they knew I cared and encourage them to think ahead and to always find new ways to accomplish their goals in life.”
