Gerrit-Jan van Velze played for the Blue Bulls' Grant Khomo team in 2004 and in 2005 as well as 2006 I played for the Bulls' Craven Week team. In 2005 he played lock and in 2006 he was selected at number 8 and captained the team. We won the Craven Week in 2006.Van Velze, captained the SA under 20 team in 2008.
