Kader Asmal

South African Politician


Born 08-10-1934 in KwaZulu-Natal

Deceased 22-06-2011

Kader Asmal was a South African politician. He had previously served as South Africa's Minister of Education. He also served as the Vice-President of the African Association of International Law and Chairman of the Council of the University of the North. Asmal served as Professor of Human Rights Law at the University of the Western Cape. He passed away in June 2011.
