In 1982, he founded JFPI Corporation, which assumed to top spot as Africa's largest holding and empowerment company only three years after being established.

Dr. Jackson became the world's first Diamantaire of African descent in 1986, immediately after opening his own diamond manufacturing plant in Mbuji-Mayi, (DRC).
