Jo Day is a singer and composer. She has earned the title, Queen of South African rock. Her fan club extends as far as the United Kingdom, Europe, United States of America, New Zealand and Australia. She made her second last live appearance at Woodstock 9 on 01 December 2007. She was Editor and compiler of the free South African Rock e-mag THE 'ZINE. She has written articles on South African Rock music, the broadcasting quota and the state of the South African music industry for several publications, including the Music Maker and Verge magazines.
