Gabeba Baderoon

South African poet


Born 21-02-1969 in Port Elizabeth

Gabeba Baderoon is a South African Poet. She is the Assistant Professor for the Pennsylvania State University, U.S.A. Baderoon held the Guest Writer Fellowship at the Nordic Africa Institute, the second person after Ama Ata Aidoo to receive this award. She has been awarded a Civitella Ranieri Fellowship for 2008.
