2009 NALEDI AWARD WINNER for BEST ORIGINAL CHOREOGRAPHER. Israel is a Director & Founder of Mpumalanga Dance Theatre situated at the heart of State Theatre in the Capital City of RSA (Pretoria). In 2006 after his return from Germany, he then established this Dance Theatre in celebrating, teaching and promoting diversity through dance. He is one of South Africa's top commercial choreographers, with his choreography behind the dance routines for the FNB Dance Umbrella since 2001 and his performances for the 2006 FIFA World Cup Finals staged in Germany and then lately for his outstanding work in the Multi Award Piece that earned him the Prestigeous Gold coin in the South African Naledi Theatre Award.
