Fulufhelo Vincent Nelwamondo

Computational Intelligence and pattern recognition specialist, current focus on biometrics


Born 18-09-1982 in Limpopo Province

Visiting Professor of Electrical Engineering, University of Johannesburg; Senior researcher, and Leader of the Biometrics research, CSIR, youngest South African to receive the Harvard fellowship. His research work has been presented in Hungary, Taiwan,China, USA, Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa, Botswana, etc. He is the recipient of many research awards! Prof Nelwamondo has published over 40 papers in Journals, Book chapters and conference proceedings. He has succesfully co-supervised no less than 4 MSc degrees, and curently has many PhD's in the pipeline
