Harari supported and backed many international artists such as Percy Sledge, Timmy Thomas, Brook Benton and Wilson Pickett on their S.A. tours. The Beaters changed their name to Harai in 1976. He started by playing the drums at eight years old and then formed a band with school friends in high school. Started performing as a professional musician at the age of fifteen.
