Danny K is a South African singer. He is the first South African musician to perform on the Oprah Winfrey Show in Chicago. Other guests on the day included Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Josh Groban and John Travolta. He was voted one of S.A.'s few role models in a First National Bank national survey. He performed for Nelson Mandela and Oprah Winfrey at Madiba's annual birthday party in Qunu in Transkei. He has toured and performed with many international acts including: Usher, Craig David, Puff Daddy, Ladysmith Black Mombazo, Eric Benet, Bob Geldof, U2, Queen and Beyonce. He was voted Number 34 in Heat Magazine's Top 100 for 2007.
