Lebo Mathosa started her career with the popular South African band Boom Shaka in 1994 at the age of 15. She was Nominated by the UK Music of Black Origin Awards for Best African Act in 2006. She was Nominated by FHM Magazine as one of Africa's sexiest women. In 2000, six years after joining the group, she broke away to start her solo career. Lebo has shared the stage with international acts like Will Smith and Missy Elliot and also recorded a duet with US R&B Star Keith Sweat. On 23 October 2006 she passed away.
