Kurt Darren is a South African singer. He is known for singing in Afrikaans, but has released several English albums too. His song Meisie Meisie made platinum status with over 60 000 sales in 2002. Darren performed with the group Smokie on the Symphony cruise liner in February 2000, singing their song Living Next Door to Alice with the group. His television appearances include Punchline in 1994, several Good Morning S.A. and The Breakfast Club appearances, as well as Geraas, DKNT, Leriekeraai, Bang Jan Dooie Jan, Dis hoe dit is met Steve, Maak 'n Las, Noot vir Noot, Belboks and Ontbytsake. He has appeared regularly at the KKNK in Oudtshoorn.
