South African Businesswoman


Born 29-03-1974 in Soweto

Bassie Kumalo is a former Miss South Africa, winning the title in 1994. She has been an Anchor Presenter for Top Billing, and was nominated by Femina Magazine as one of the Top 10 most glamorous women in South Africa. In 1999 she became the Director of the Tswelopele Group. In 2004, Tswelopele launched Top Billing Magazine, where Bassie is the editor of the magazine. In 2005 she launched Uzalile Investments. In 2009, Bassie was nominated for the Inyathelo Philanthropy Award. She is also the President of the Businesswomen's Association of South Africa, the largest business women's network in South Africa.
