Darian Townsend

South African Swimmer


Born 28-08-1984 in Pinetown

Darian Townsend is a South African Swimmer. He is a participant at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in India (Delhi). He was part of the men's 4x100 metre freestyle relay that won gold and broke the world record at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Career best: 50 m freestyle- 10.18; 100m freestyle-43.30; 200m freestyle-1:34.41; 100m butterfly-49.80; 200m backstroke-1:52.61; 200m IM- 1:53.72.
