Jimmy Manyi is head of South Africa's Government Communication and Information Services, and the President Black Management Forum. He is a Chartered Marketer with an Economic Geology background. He serves on a few company boards as Non Executive Director. He also represents the Black Management Forum at Business Unity of South Africa where he chairs the Standing Committee on Social Policy. Manyi has over 20 years corporate experience in mainly blue chip and multinationals spanning across key sectors of the economy (Mining, Auto, Banking, IT, Health and Food). He was Group Executive of Corporate Affairs at Tiger Brands Limited, a position he left to become Director-General at the Department of Labour. Manyi is the president of the Confederation of Black Business Organisations.
