Lucky Dube, Legendary South African Reggae Musician, was shot during a hijacking in Rosettenville, Johannesburg on Thursday 18 October 2007. One of his first albums, Rastas Never Die, recorded in 1986, was banned by S.A. censors. Recorded a duet with Sinead O'Connor over the internet. Was ranked in over 20 national and international awards for his music and videos. Did not drink or smoke cigarettes or marijuana despite the reputation most Rastafarians bear.
