Graeme Smith is a South African Cricketer. Former Captain of Proteas after having succeeded Shaun Pollock after the 2003 Cricket World Cup (2003-2010) . Left-hand batsman and off spinner of South African Cricket Team. Cricket Player for the Nashua Western Province. Highest One Day International score 134 (vs India, November 2005).In December 2008 he captained the first South African side that won a test series against Australia on their soil, in the course inflicting the first home defeat on the opponents in 16 years. He resigned as Twenty20 captain ( 17 August 2010).
