Deputy Chairperson: National Committee for the International Mathematics Union. Honorary Professor: University of the Witwatersrand. Executive Dean: Science, Engineering and Technology, University of South Africa. She is the first black African woman in South Africa to obtain a PhD in Mathematics Education.
