Cheryl Carolus has built very strong networks with the major players in the British and South African government, business and NGO world – networks she has applied in her work as South Africa's High Commissioner in London (in 1998); her work with SA Tourism (2001 - 2004) as well as work she has done as chairwoman of the Board of SA Airways (SAA) from September 28 2009). She was also on the Board Chairperson of South African National Parks (SANPARKS). She is also chairperson of Peotona Holdings, an investment company that deals with business development.
