Anchen Margaretha Dreyer

Born 27-03-1952 in Pretoria

Anchen Dreyer is a Member of Parliament and the Democratic Alliance spokesperson on Labour. She started her political life as a volunteer for the Progressive Federal Party in 1978, and then became a ward councillor in the City of Johannesburg in 1991. In 1999 she was elected to the Gauteng Provincial Legislature for the then-DP, and in 2005 became a DA Member of Parliament. She now considers herself a retired clinical psychologist and a full-time politician.
