Born 06-08-1923 in Cape Town

Toured Europe with Memorial Theatre when it was led by Sir John Gielgud, also toured with one woman show People in Love. Toured UK & Canada with musical version of Great Expectations opposite Sir John Mills. Appeared in many West End productions, including Present Laughter with Noel Coward, The Love of Four Colonels with Peter Ustinov, The Gazebo & Devil May Care with Ian Carmichael, & many others. Appeared in the Stratford-on-Avon Shakespeare season playing Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Desdemona in Othello and Olivia in Twelfth Night. She then toured Europe with the company playing in Much Ado About Nothing and King Lear.
