Sewsunker Sewgolum is a South African Golfer, he taught himself to play golf using branches of trees from the beach that looked like golf clubs. A golf course in Durban is named the Papwa Sewgolum Municipal Golf Course in his memory. Sewgolum received a posthumous achievement award from President Thabo Mbeki in 2003. He passed away in 1978.
