Premier of KwaZulu-Natal


Born 02-02-1956 in KwaZulu-Natal

Zweli Mkhize is a South African doctor, legislator and politician. He was elected on 30 April 2009 as the African National Congress candidate for Premier of KwaZulu-Natal and was elected to that position by the provincial legislature on 6 May 2009. Mkhize is also the chancellor of the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
