Born 17-06-1929 in Durban

Vincent Matthews is Chief Executive Officer of the IFP. He returned to South Africa in 1991 and joined the IFP in 1992. He became a member of the ANC Youth League in 1944 and was involved in the Defiance Campaign in 1952. He was later accused in the Treason Trial in 1956, and went into exile in 1960.
