Tubby Reddy

CEO of SASCOC


Born in Durban

Tubby Reddy, CEO of South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC), is a former teacher who was born and raised in Durban. He has played, coached and been an international volleyball administrator since 1979. After teaching in Port Elizabeth, Chatsworth and Verulam, Reddy joined the National Olympic Committee of South Africa in 1997. When SASCOC was formed in 2005, Reddy was appointed a General Manager, followed shortly by a promotion to Chief Operating Officer in 2007. He became CEO in February 2009.
