Stefan Lothar Hans Braun


Born 22-08-1963 in Germany

After graduating from the Professional Hotel and Catering School in Nürnberg in 1981, Stefan has spent 30 years, both internationally and locally, in the fields of management and development in the hospitality industry.
During his six years as the Chief Executive Officer of Arabella South Africa, Stefan was directly responsible for the design, development and management of over R1 billion of real estate and all hospitality operations. During his tenure at Arabella the company was: the only hospitality company to be awarded the coveted ISO 9000 and 14000 certification in Africa; awarded the Best Employer status by the Department of Labour; recognised as a Top 300 Company in South Africa; and won numerous design and hospitality related accolades. His primary expertise lies in the operation and development of Hotels and Restaurants, Wellness Centres, Primary and Holiday residential real estate such as Golf Course Estates and Wine Estates.
