""I have been working with Ricardo Baron Baretzky on research paper on fingerprinting of diamonds of different origin using FTIR spectroscopy. In this case study using the multi algorithms and custom-designed software from DiaLab South Africa we were able to identify the same sample and separate it from the 2500 samples with a 100% accuracy in identification by means of a fingerprinting sample. One thing that especially impressed me about Ricardo is that he has interest in different subjects concerning diamonds (rough, polished, treated and synthetics) and their cycle form the mine to the consumer. He also has knowledge of new developments in treatments and production of synthetic diamonds. I would highly recommend Ricardo Baron Baretzky as researcher and gemologist who understands diamonds and their identification by use of FTIT technique. I also believe that Ricardo knows international gem, diamond and jewellery trade very well."
