Online Media, Internet and E-Commerce
I assist entrepreneurs and small business owners to make sense of the online world and use social media and other networking tools to effectively market their businesses, products and services.
The best way to start is to attend a Social Media Strategy workshop (available in full day or half day sessions or as private consultations). This will give you a good understanding of what to think of in creating a successful campaign strategy for your social media effort. We'll cover the concepts and correct tools to connect and drive your business to online success using social media, from the questions to ask yourself before you start to how to measure if it's working.
The Power of LinkedIn workshop will help you understand why LinkedIn is one of the most effective tools you can use for business networking online. We'll show you how to create a professional profile and use the LinkedIn network to get new business, interact with and gain from your connections, find answers, answer questions, research professional people, and much more!
The Twitter 101 workshop will show you how to make the most of Twitter, what all the "codes" mean, the tools to use for business tweeting, and provide some practical examples. You'll learn how to use tools like HootSuite & Tweetdeck as well as the browser version on Twitter.com. You will actually be tweeting, following people, getting followed, mentioned, etc. by the end of this workshop.
Advanced workshops are available on request. I also customise and present any of the topics above for specific groups, both as talks and facilitated workshops.

Online Media, Internet and E-Commerce
I'm a fervent networker and facilitate and attend many business networking functions, meetings and conferences around Cape Town. I meet amazing business owners and other networkers at every meeting, and even though we may not have done business together yet, we do know each other already! When the time comes we either refer others or call on each other - networking in progress!
