Born 04-03-1964 in Durban

Rakesh Garach was the Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank AG. He is one of the founding shareholders of Utajiri Investments, established to participate as an equity leader in Black Economic initiatives in the Financial Services Industry. He was a senior partner within Assurance Services at Ernst & Young. Rakesh gained enormous international experience while at Ernst & Young having served at the offices in London and Amsterdam. He currently serves on the audit committees of the Financial Sector Charter.
