Born 14-03-1955

With 27 years’ experience in investment research and portfolio management, Dr Prieur du Plessis is one of the most experienced and well-known investment professionals in South Africa. More than 1 500 of his articles on investment-related topics have been published in various regular newspaper, journal and Internet columns (including the Investment Postcards from Cape Town blog: www.investmentpostcards.com).
In addition to chairing the board of the the Plexus Group of companies, Du Plessis is professor extraordinaire at the University of Stellenbosch Business School, and also serves as Honorary Consul of Slovenia for South Africa, actively developing economic, cultural and scientific relations between Slovenia and South Africa.
