Professor Emeritus: Witwatersrand School of Anatomical Science, Johannesburg; Represented SA at numerous international Scientific Congresses & Symposia: Novel Symposia, Karlskoga, Sweden 1978, Royal Society Symposia London, 1980, 2000.; Elected Africa Rep on Council International Association of Human Biologists 1977-1985; Best known for his discovery in 1994 of Little Foot, a three million year old hominid, he also played a key role in negotiating the return of the remains of Sarah Baartman with French authorities in 2002;
