On the 7th of November 2009 Nkosinathi Ndlovu was named as the Best Activist for people with Disabilities in Ehlanzeni District Municipality by the Executive Mayor and on 3th December 2010 was awarded as the first finalist National Disablity Young Leader of the year 2010 in Johannesburg for his contribution in the advacement of young people with disabilities especially deaf youth in south africa

in 2008 Nkosinathi was elected as the Provincial Chaiperson Deaf Youth Federation OF Mpumalanga then during October the same year was deployed as National Deputy Chaiperson Deaf Youth South Africa in Durban city, and in 2009 was appointed as an Ambassador of the Parliamentary Millennium Programme National Youth Campaign South Africa a Project of the Parliament of the Republic South Africa
