Nana Coyote is an African Jazz Singer. He was born Tsietsi Daniel Motijoane in Lesotho in 1955. Former member of “The Black Five" the group was based in Sharpeville, where for 10 years they performed around the country. In the 1980s Nana did a duet with Steve Kekana "Take your love" which became a huge hit and is still considered one of the South African all time classics; He also did a feature in one of Stimela’s songs “Whisper in the deep (Phinda Mzala)". Nana Coyote’s first solo album under the Kisanji label, ( owned by Joe Nina) , titled “Majaja" was released in August 2003. Nana Coyote passed away on the 5 July2010 at the age of 55years old.
