Naadiya Moosajee

Born 27-07-1984 in Johannesburg South Africa

Naadiya is the co-founder of the non-profit organisation, South African Women in Engineering.Through her non-profit she promotes education, awareness and personal and professional development of females in the engineering environment. She hold a BSc Civil Engineering degree as well as a MSc Engineering degree from the University of Cape Town. Naadiya was a fellow of the African Leadership Network, 2009 CEO magazine's Most Influential Woman of the Year, and held the position of VIP, Media & Match Official Transport Coordinator for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. She was a recipient of the International Youth Foundation's Global Leadership Fellowship in 2009 and one of Mail&Guardian Magazine's top 300 Young South Africans You have to take to lunch. Naadiya was also selected as one of the top 100 Brightest Young Minds in South Africa in 2006. She currently works as a strategy consultant for Pegasys Strategy & Development, while maintaining her role as co-founder at SAWomEng and sits on the Board of Directors of the International Youth Foundation, based in Baltimore
