Involved in trade negotiations. Contributes to policy formulation to support negotiations. Supports and provides leadership in developing international trade in services positions for South Africa. Provides technical advice and support to senior trade officials.Represents South Africa in the Council for Trade in Services at the World Trade Organisation (Geneva).Works on the SADC Trade in Services Trade Negotiating Forum and SADC-EC Technical Working Group for Trade in Services. Was the Commonwealth Scholar to the London School of Economics and recipient of the Commonwealth and Mellon Foundation Scholarships for academic excellence. Initiated and developed course on "Economic Diplomacy and Negotiations" at Rhodes University.
