Siyabonga has represented Bafana Bafana since 6 May 1999, and he took part in the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

He made his first appearance with the national team on May 26, 2007 against Malawi. Modise has been an instrumental player in many of Bafana Bafana's international matches. He was part of the Bafana Bafana squad for the Fifa 2010 World Cup.

Itumeleng Khune is the Captain of Kaizer Chiefs Football Club. He is a South African soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for the Kaizer Chiefs and the South African National Team, Bafana Bafana. Khune was part of the Bafana Bafana squad in the FIFA 2010 World Cup. He won the Absa Premiership's Players' Player Award as well as the Goalkeeper of the Season Award at the PSL Awards in May 2008 for the 2007/8 season. Khune was the first-choice goalkeeper in South Africa's squad at the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup where he saved a penalty against Spanish star David Villa in the group stages.

Tshabalala plays as a winger for Kaizer Chiefs in the South African Premier Soccer League and is also a part of the South African national team, Bafana Bafana. He was part of the Bafana Bafana squad for the Fifa 2010 World Cup. Tshabalala was nominated for Fifa's goal of the year award in January 2011. He won the award for Sports Personality of the Year at the 2010 Gauteng Sports Awards.
