Graça Machel
Graca Machel is President of the Foundation of Community Development and the Unesco National Commission, in Mozambique. She is the third wife of former South African president Nelson Mandela. Machel is the widow of Samora Machel, the first President of independent Mozambique. She is a former Education and Culture Minister of Mozambique. In 1995 she received the Nansen Medal from the UN in recognition of her longstanding humanitarian work, particularly on behalf of refugee children.

Zanele Mbeki
Zanele Mbeki was First Lady of South Africa from 1998 to 2008. She married former president Thabo Mbeki in 1974. She is involved in various national and international organisations promoting South African womens economic empowerment. Zanele is a founder of the Womens Development Bank.

Thobeka Madiba Zuma is married to South African President Jacob Zuma. She has been First Lady since 2010. She is the 5th wife of President Jacob Zuma, and a former Bank Clerk and worked at several companies in La Lucia.

Sizakele Zuma is the first wife of President Jacob Zuma. The couple married in 1973. Zuma is involved in agriculture and food security in South Africa.

Anna Botha
Elize Botha was married to P.W. Botha, who served a president of South Africa from 1984 to 1989. P.W. Botha was also Prime Minister of South Africa from 1978 to 1984. Elize Botha passed away on 6 June 1997 at the age of 75.

Marike De Klerk
Marike de Klerk was the First Lady of South Africa from 1989 to 1994. She was married to former President of South Africa F.W. de Klerk. She was the leader of the National Party's women's wing, during her husbands presidency. She wrote and released two books, "In A Journey Through Summer and Winter" and "A Place Where the Sun Shines Again". Marike and F.W. de Klerk divorced in 1998. Marike passed away on the 4 December 2001.

Mapula Motlanthe is married to Kgalema Motlanthe, former President of South Africa (2008 - 2009 ) . Mapula is a Radiographer, who has worked at Leratong Hospital in Mogale City.
