Lira is one of South Africa's celebrated Afro-Jazz singers. She has a South African Music award(SAMA)-winning album Feel Good and released another successful album, Soul In Mind in 2008 (which reached platinum in its 3rd week of release). She later released a live performance DVD( which went double platinum) and her live CD has gone gold. She has featured in most South African magazines and has also featured in Woolworths Summer Campaign (August 2007). She has a SAMA nomination for Best Female Artist as well as Best Global Chart Artist, Best Packaging (for Live album).She joins other prominent South African musicians at Midem 2010 (the world's largest music industry trade fair) in Cannes, France.Lira is currently working on her next release, for 2011.Find out more about her on her website http://www.misslira.co.za.
