Ikusasa Awards are described as South Africas biggest youth event which is the flagship platform under The Ikusasa Youth Expo and Awards.
Ikusasa award was established in February 2011 as a non profit organization registered with Company and intellectual property commission of the Department of trade and industry South Africa and the Department of Social Development. Its purpose is to connect and bring together through the awards programme, the youngest, the brightest and the best South African youths and to ensure that their concerns, opinions and solutions are heard.

The extremely young Southern Africa Youths are the new driving force behind the rebirth of ideas and innovation in our Nation. The Youth, with creative ideas, are going beyond the traditional to harness their talent to achieve excellence. The Ikusasa Award is well positioned to be part of this renaissance, and proud to be part of the celebration of the new generation of Young South African young achievers.
