Kevin Chaplin is an award-winning speaker and humanitarian. In October 2006 Kevin Chaplin took up the position of Managing Director of the South African Ubuntu Foundation and Amy Biehl Foundation, incorporating the SA Business Development Institute, Ubuntu Leadership SA, The South African Academy of Entrepreneurship, Ubuntu Events Management & Festival, Ubuntu Business & Motivational Speaking. He was previously Provincial Manager, First National Bank Western Cape and prior to that Sales and Service Director Cape Town, Director Human Resources & Admin FNB First Commerce Gauteng and National Industrial Relations Manager. Awarded the Knights Circle of Valour Award for Community Service and the Melvin Jones International Fellow Award for Dedicated Humanitarian Service – other recipients include Raymond Ackerman & Archbishop Desmond Tutu. He was voted top guest speaker at UCT for 2005. He has raised over R8 million for various charities in the past 6 years.
