The Bandwidth Barn is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Cape IT Initiative (CITI), a Section 21 company, and the development and promotions agency for the ICT sector in the Western Cape.

BSG secured the title of Corporate Service of the Year. BSG has been a finalist in the PSA Homegrown Awards for the past 3 years in the Innovator of the Year, Service of the Year and Company of the Year business categories.
BSG’s winning entry in 2008 for the Corporate Service of the Year category detailed its excellent quality control procedures which have enabled it to deliver business consulting and software development at extremely high standards.

BSG won the title of Innovator of the Year in 2007 for its entry based on the SMART system. SMART was designed based on national guidelines for administering the roll-out of antiretroviral treatment in South Africa.
