Garth Griffin

Chairman of the ABSA Group Limited

Garth Griffin is the Chairman of ABSA Group Limited. He is the Chairperson of two privately held companies based in Cape Town and is a trustee of the University of Cape Town Foundation.He has consulted to a number of South African and international businesses,including Orbis, Investec Asset Management and Old Mutual plc and served as a Non-Executive Director on a number of boards in the financial services sector. He is the President of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
