Gareth Armstrong
Leadership Platform
Born
in Cape Town
South Africa
As per the Leadership Platform website:
Gareth Armstrong is the man entrusted with the awesome responsibility that is Leadership Platform Youth.
He has been involved and associated with Leadership Platform for a number of years now, and with youth and their development for much longer.
Gareth has a passion for youth and a powerful vision of what can be should they be empowered with the correct tools and skills. Both these, his passion and vision, are potent motivators making him an asset to LPY, and an extremely effective mentor and coach to youth he associates with.
His personal leadership journey started, as all of ours did, in his home and school environments, watching and listening carefully to parents and personal mentors - most of whom were, and still are, involved in corporate training and development - ...everything he learned, then and since, assisting to bring him to where he is today after pursuing an education in Finance, and, most recently, returning from an intensive two year volunteer service mission where he was also called upon and used to not only serve his fellow South Africans, but also lead (motivate, strategise, communicate, execute) and train others from various countries across the globe - "...an intensive period of personal growth and leadership maturation."
Dynamic and innovative, Gareth is the perfect middle man between Leadership Platform's senior level, leadership development offerings and the Y-Generation, and their hunger for this kind of guidance and direction.
