Edwin Roberts is a business strategist with a keen ability to apply innovative futures thinking to implementable solutions for accelerated growth. He has operated at an executive level in several large global organisations spanning Finance, Technology, Packaging and Consulting. His entrepreneurial prowess, ability to see market gaps and develop innovative solutions has culminated in the successful establishment of several businesses and founded the Creative Alliance Group where he serves as CEO.
Edwin concluded the sale of his consulting business to Deloitte in July 2008. During the transition period Edwin lead the Global Outsourcing Advisory services practice for Deloitte South Africa Consulting in addition to the 2010 FIFA World Cup Sponsors activation strategy having participated in drafting the 2010 Special Measures Bills in parliament. In the latter months he was nominated into the FutureWorld global network of business practitioners who help organizations understand their future business context, choose their ideal future and fast-track its creation. Through these powerful insights, unique communications and strategic processes, he has helped rewrite the rules of business for companies operating in the global economy.
Edwin has localised international Contact Centre operations to South Africa, developed international outsourcing strategies, Directed FIFA World Cup Rights acquisitions, devised consumer channelling strategies for Absa (Barclays) and introduced Biometric technology to curtail fraud in finance and enable legitimate entitlement to Donor fund services.
