David Higgs

Head Chef


David Higgs is Head Chef at Rust en Vrede in Stellenbosch, where he contributed to the 2010 winning of three major awards (Restaurant of the Year, Chef of the Year and the Service Excellence award) for the establishment. He has been a chef in South Africa for 18 years. He was a member of the South African national Culinary Team and has represented South Africa at the Culinary Olympics. Higgs was voted Chaine des Rotisseurs Young Chef of the Year.
