Daniel Erasmus

Daniel Erasmus is the Director of Strategic Marketing for the Standard Bank Group. The Strategic Marketing function forms part of the Stanbic/Standard Bank Group’s global functions, with responsibilities across the 37 countries within which it operates. Daniel joined the Standard Bank Group in 2000, prior to which he worked in the advertising industry.
Daniel has built a career that specialises in marketing across Africa and other emerging markets. He is responsible for and leads marketing projects across 20 countries, including Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Uganda.
Daniel holds a masters degree in marketing obtained from the University of Pretoria (South Africa). He also completed further education at Harvard Business School (USA), Wharton Business School (USA) and the AAA School of Advertising (South Africa).
