Chad Le Clos is a professional South African swimmer. He has won a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the Men's 200m Butterfly race. In December 2010 he won the Men's 200m butterfly final at the FINA Short Course Swimming World Championships in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In 2011, he won the overall Swimming World Cup title when he secured his 23rd gold medal on the final day of the series. Le Clos has qualified to represent South Africa in the 2012 Olymipics in London.
