Burry Stander

South African Cyclist


Born in Port Shepstone

Burry Stander is a South African mountain biker. In 2011 he won the Cape Epic. In 2010 he came in at third place at the mountain bike world championships in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Quebec, Canada. He was the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup under-23 men's cross-country 2009 world champion. In the 2008 Olympic Summer Games, Stander finished 15th in the cross country mountain bike.
