Born 02-01-1933

Brigalia Bam is a former Chairperson of the Independent Electoral Commission. She retired in November 2011. Bam is the Secretary-General of the South African Council of Churches. She is also the Secretary and coordinator of the Women Workers Programme (Africa region) for the International Food and Allied Workers Association and Director of the Programmes of the World Council of Churches.
