As a Radio producer I am responsible for the audio content of broadcasts via radio, the internet and other mobile platforms. I am involved in the entire process, from generating ideas to managing the audience response after a programme. I manage and work with broadcasting assistants, presenters and DJs, engineers and IT and also responsible for the business and commercial management of a programme. I am part of a digital revolution which is having a profound impact on the way in which radio is produced and accessed.
I conduct research to obtain factual information and authentic detail, utilizing sources such as newspaper accounts, diaries, and interviews. I do reviews, submit for approval, and revises written material to meet personal standards and satisfy needs of the audiences. I am responsible for the making of a radio show. From initial concept, to booking guests, to directing on-air talent, to working the soundboard to a broadcast, I have my hands in every aspect of my show as a producer. I keep my show on schedule. I am responsible for planning a show. I line up and confirm guests for a show. I work with marketing department to carry out promotions. I also confer with legal department to ensure on-air compliance with local, state and broadcasting rules and regulations. I direct the show. I screen phone calls during a call-in show. I edit taped interviews and conversations I may run a soundboard and may organise remote broadcasts. I write scripts. I may participate in the show as an on-air personality as well from time to time.

I updated the back end-content on the website that needed to be updated regularly, such as in some cases, the i had to be responsible for producing web content fro the CIPRO and to train CIPRO employees on content structure, lay out and loading. .In other cases,my content management duties included editing, posting and removing pieces from time to time. I also used the web as a communication tool for CIPRO's future events and CEO's messages to staff. One of my primary responsibilities was to keep the website operating at peak efficiency and making sure the information displayed on the site is very fresh.
